The conference/training was awesome. I have to confess, before the training started, I was a little bit worried because I feel like I haven't been touching my spirit enough in the last few weeks. But! But our God is so awesome! (Did you know that "awesome" is a Biblical word? Check out Psalm 68:35) He's the one that gives us our power and strength to go on! I feel the Lord was so gracious!
The messages on the training were SO RICH! When I listened to it, I feel "O my goodness, our Lord is so real and true!". And I praised the Lord that He brought me back into my spirit during the training. One of the things that I enjoyed the most is that Christ is the center and the focus of the book of Psalms. Often we go to Psalms because we need some soul and spiritual comfort, but we have to realize that we can not be selfish. In this universe, our God has a purpose! Psalms is not only for our comfort but it is also revealing God's eternal purpose and riches.
For example, in Psalm 22 Christ was the Redeemer and the Regenerator, He went through the process (incarnation, human living, crucified, resurrected, ascended) so He can become the Life Giving Spirit in us to ushers in His ministry to shepherd the church. In Psalm 23 we see that this Shepherd needs our cooperation for His ministry. As we are shepherding one another, we are preparing the Bride for Christ to come as the King as shown in Psalm 24. In Psalm 24 we see that He will be the King who will regain the entire earth through the church, His Body, the people whom He has redeemed and regenerated and is shepherding today.
Wow! I know this is kind of short and deep, but AMEN! Praise the Lord for this revelation in the book of Psalms. We have to pray for more revelation bit by bit each day.
I apologize if what I'm trying to say is confusing, I'm not a good story-teller/speaker, but I just feel like I have to say all these. You can always read the book of Psalms with it's footnotes from the Recovery Version Bible and listen to the messages for more elaborate revelation. Man, I can't believe how marvelous and rich our God is! He is so rich!
