Hey all,

sorry I haven't been writing on the rest of my Singapore trip. The semester turns out to be much more busier that I thought it would be. I hope I'll get the chance to catch y'all up with my trip soon.

However, today I would just like to let y'all know about my Old Testament reading schedule. During my winter break trip, I managed to finished reading Genesis (I couldn't believe it either, it's been long ago since I started). Then before school started I decided that I want to finish reading the OT by the end of this semester.

I heard from one of my companions that the easiest way to keep up with your reading is to make a schedule and she told me about Read His Word. From this website you can customize your own personal schedule. So yea, now I have my own personal schedule!

If I follow my schedule (by the Lord's mercy I'll be able to do it), I will finish reading OT on June 30th!! (it's a little bit after the semester, but it's okay)

Well, I'd like to encourage y'all that you can also do the same. Just go to Read His Word and make your own personal schedule. I think my schedule is pretty intense, but you should make one that is doable and works for you.

Just spare 5-15 minutes everyday to read some of His Word. Reading His Word is the way for us to know more about Him and to know what His heart's desire is.

All Scripture is God-breathed and profitable for teaching, for conviction, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, fully equipped for every good work.”—2 Timothy 3:16–17.

One last tip: Don't be discouraged if you are behind, slowly catch up and you'll be fine!

  1. Hey, that's really helpful to create your own personal schedule. Does it have a reminder kind of feature though?

  2. Yes it does! It'll email you every morning to remind you to read that day's portion!
